The Karacasu region, which is 5 km away from Bolu, is located on the North Anatolian fault line and has abundant geothermal water resources.
This region was declared as a “thermal tourism center” in 1993. It is a quiet resting place surrounded by forests at the hillside of Seben Mountains.

Water from the Karacasu region; the total mineralization is 1744,367 mg / L (above 1000 mg / L) and the water temperature at the time of
sampling is 42 ºC (> 20 ºC) so it is called “thermomineral water” in balneology.

The pH of the water, which is odorless and tasteless, is 6.49. Rich in carbon dioxide (CO2: 563.2 mg / L), calcium (Ca2 + = 358.7 mg / L),
sulphate (SO4 2-: 390, mg / L), bicarbonate (HCO3 -: 835.70 mg / L) content.

Although it is suitable for bathing and drinking cures, it is good for rheumatic diseases, skin, blood circulation and heart diseases, respiratory diseases,
gynecological diseases, digestive system, gall bladder, kidney and urinary tract diseases, bone and osteoarthritis, metabolism and nutritional disorders.
