OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

The primary goal of occupational therapy is to increase individuals' participation in daily living activities and foster independence. In the occupational therapy unit, patients of all ages are prepared for daily life with occupational therapy treatment. Patients practice daily living activities in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and toilet areas of the unit. Treatment also continues in the unit's hand rehabilitation, virtual reality rehabilitation, and driver rehabilitation areas. Occupational therapy helps individuals gain independence in all their environments (home, work, school, and community).
